I have diverse students with different unique needs especially in the area of "learning." I use a lot of strategies in teaching and using technology is the most efficient. They love to manipulate the tablet when I present the lessons and participate in the assessments. Their attention is drawn when they watch a video first, as my springboard to our lessons. They love how the characters in the story move as they watch the video. Through the use of this iPad, kids will have an opportunity to learn faster and at the same time have fun while learning. They are interested when they see a video and interact by clicking the screen. Most of them have difficulty in writing and manipulating the writing utensils. When I give an assessment to them, this iPad is a form of accommodation for them since they only need to touch the screen for their answers, thus, they can participate better. We have one iPad from last year but it is already broken. I am hoping that we can have a new one as a replacement for my students' use. This iPad will eventually bridge the gap in learning among my students. Thank you and more power!
