With all that our students have endured and overcome over the last year and a half, we are excited to welcome everyone back, in-person(!!!), for the new school year. While keeping everyone safe is a priority, it is also my priority as a teacher to keep my students engaged and actively learning, and I know that I can accomplish this by providing my students with the necessary tools and resources for a productive learning environment.
The items I've selected for our third grade classroom have been carefully well-thought out with students diverse needs in mind. Flexible seating and noise-cancelling headphones will allow my students opportunities to better immerse and engage in their learning, such as reading and writing. Access to an abundance of TpT resources will allow me to implement a sound wall in my classroom, which will help support students as they learn and develop as readers. Lastly, Legos and Pentominoes will give my students opportunities to engage in more STEM activities, which our classroom currently does not have.
Overall, my goal for our classroom is to create a welcoming, engaging and productive environment that all students can learn and thrive in. These resources will help to support that goal.
