My Title I public school classroom is located in an urban, high-poverty area. We work very hard to turn our students' disadvantages into advantages.
My students are autistic. They are beautiful and absolutely amazing! They have such wonderful and exceptional minds. My students teach me so much every day - it is a real honor and joy to work with them.
Because our classroom is self-contained, we will have 6-8 students for the 2023-2024 school year. Anything I request on Donors Choose goes into making their classroom life just that much better so my students can adequately compete academically and socially in tomorrow's world.
