By providing my students with many options of books and other literacy materials, it will help them form a love for reading and aid in their reading fluency and comprehension skills. These books I have requested to order will spearhead a large classroom library for myself as I want my students to have many possibilities when it comes to choosing a book to read.
Many of my students may not have their own books at home, or are unable to buy their own books. This will not stop any of my students from building their literacy skills with Donors Choose. My students can take these books home to share with their families and grow their reading skills when they are not at school. Many of my students may not have their own books at home, or are unable to buy books. I will also send books home to students that are learning remotely.
