Literacy and language are so important in early childhood learning, it is the first steps to becoming a reader and writer. I always try to find engaging resources to help students understand and engage in the importance of learning their letters and sounds. For 26 weeks we focus on one letter and sound of the alphabet and are then reviewed for the rest of the year. Games and flash cards are typical and decent ways to learn the alphabet, but with this resource I feel like my students will be immersed and more excited to learn their letters and grasp the concept even better. It is definitely a big project, but I really want to give this to my students as I feel this will give them a more enjoyable way to learn their letters and sounds. Students at this age have short attention span and feel that this will help keep their focus as well. The learning outcomes with this resource will heighten their excitement and comprehension towards their literacy goals.
Overall I always try to give my students the best educational experience possible as this is their first year and exposure to education and I want it to be a positive one that hopefully they can take with them for the rest of their school years. Resources such as this I feel can help. Thank you ahead of time for any donations.
