These books will be used to fill my classroom Library. Students will have stories that they can culturally identify with. Students will have books of subjects they are interested in such as Animals, Music, and Pop Culture to keep reading fun and exciting. The books were choose to prompt reading to students. Because reading is the foundation of learning and understanding all subjects. Students will also use the books during Reading Blocks at school and for when their work is completed early. These books will be used for years for all students entering my 8th grade ELA class.
