The items that I have requested will help me meet the needs of all of my students. Those that are non-ambulatory will have a water toy for their wheelchair trays, a wall activity that can be accessed from their wheelchairs. For my more severe student, there are light up toys that will help address his cortical visual impairment. Sensory toys will benefit all of my students and the play toys will address the needs of a majority of the students. I also have a need for sippy cups to use during the day and laminating paper to help preserve items in the classroom. The batteries are probably the most needed item to help keep all of the other toys in the class running.
