Through the use of these novels, students will exposed to exceptional writing, thought-provoking themes, and life-changing conversations that show the students why classic literature is still relevant not only to our society and culture, but to the students themselves. These readings lead to rich discussions that have an impact not only on the student in their academic experiences, but also in how they interact with the world around them. By having these novels available for use in the classroom, students will be able to progress in all of the necessary English Language Arts skills required to be successful in the high school setting. These skills and discussions are preparing the students to be thoughtful, contributing members of society.

About my class
