I strive to have books in my classroom that support differentiated reading levels, diversity, student interest, and more! These books will be great for read-aloud time, where I model how to read print to my emergent readers. The books will also be used in the classroom library, where students can read independently. This will be the first experience for them with learning different reading strategies as well.
Kindergarteners will be immersed in a variety of different topics and interests at their own level! This project will help support my goal of creating lifelong readers in my classroom.
