Breakout boxes are fun, gamified, competitive learning experiences. Up to 30 students (in 6 groups) compete to solve a series of puzzles that ultimately open their breakout boxes. Because they are puzzle-based, breakout boxes require high levels of critical thinking and collaborative teamwork.
Any teacher can create challenges that require students to use what they've learned in class, and the breakout boxes are reusable! We can use them for any teacher, any class, over and over again! As the school librarian, I will help design these breakout challenges and set up the boxes each time they are used.
