I teach first grade at a small rural town in Northeast Texas. My students learn best by using hands-on activities, singing, and play based learning. They enjoy stories, games, and reading. Many of the students in our school are from low-income households and have parents that want the best for their children. The parents at our school are so great and are involved in their children's education. I just want to create a classroom full of opportunity for my students.
