Flexible seating and project-based learning allow students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them.
By creating a versatile classroom space my students will be able to move at the speed of that student learning through project-based learning.
The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices and to work on projects. The stools are adjustable and will allow students to sit at higher tables and to stand up when working on a project. The low chairs will be another flexible seating option that students can use when reading or when working on a project with a clipboard. They are all lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom to collaborate with peers.
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
