The activities that I have asked for will go towards improving the lives of my students in a variety of ways. Most of my students are on the spectrum, and requires a differing level of assistance when performing life skills: fine motor, gross motor, coordination, matching, labeling, modeling, echoing, etc. The students currently do not have access to many of the tasks they require to learn these skills in a small group or independent activity center.
My students deserve the chance to learn how to perform independent skill tasks so that they may, with time, learn to become functional as not just students, but as children who love to play and learn at heart. Together we can make a difference in the lives of these students who are giving their best every day to become academically and socially successful.
