The 2020-2021 school year has been primarily virtual, aided by the use of technology. As we transition back to more "traditional" instruction, tools that helped with virtual learning can still be utilized to deepen student understanding of the material. Specifically, an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil can be used to more easily communicate content, especially when delivering notes.
Additionally, this technology will enhance student engagement and allow them to have a hand in the instruction. Using the iPad, I will be able to circulate around the classroom and ask for student input in the moment. There will be no awkward waiting for a student to tell me what to write or to walk up to the projector. Instead, I can simply hand them the iPad and have them write their thoughts on the screen. This allows a single student to have an important role in the lesson and allow other students to learn from them.
