Your generous support will provide books for my third grade students to add to their libraries at home. It will help to ignite a life-long habit of reading! These book selections will peak their interests. They will apply many strategies like noticing story elements and wondering about the characters' lives. I would like for my students to become fluent readers who will turn into strong evidence-based writers. They will also, be able to use the books for Reading Counts program at our school and for their nightly Reading Homework.
