I teach 6th Grade English Language Arts in a Title 1 School. Our school is a diverse, inclusive community of learners ever curious, enthusiastic and constantly seeking new ways to learn and express themselves. Students come from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Minority enrollment is over 75% of the student body, and over half of our student body is eligible for free or reduced lunch.
My students need positive learning spaces and experiences that challenge them to think more deeply, creatively problem solve, and effectively collaborate with their peers.
