Imagine yourself walking down the hallway where you know music class is taking place. You only hear drums beating due to a lack of accompaniment normally provided by wind instruments. It's like having a heartbeat with no blood flow. This is the case in our school at the moment.
Students shouldn't be left without the experience of listening and feeling the goosebumps wind instruments provide. Whoever reads this and helps provide these tools for my students, please know, you'll be giving children the opportunity of a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
These instruments will be directly used for daily instruction. Having students apply their knowledge and skills on musical staff reading. There will be performance opportunities, where parents will be allowed to see and experience their child's progression in their musicianship.
Apart from classroom use, each student will be allowed to take these instruments home to enhance their craft. The plastic material will allow for easy sanitation.
