My classroom library is falling apart, adding new books to it will not only revitalize it but will also create a new interest because my students love to read new books and learn new things. I can't wait to use the non-fiction readers to teach them about things in our world they don't know yet. The author's use non-fiction to teach you without you even knowing it, and the kids love to learn new facts about their topics!
I will also use fiction books to help the students understand what they are reading. Reading comprehension is so important! Reading is pointless if you have no clue what you are reading! I plan on using all of these resources to help my students become better readers and deeper thinkers. Our world needs more people who can read and think about what they are reading, and I plan on creating those little people right here in my classroom with your help!
