These books will help my students have books in the classroom that relate to them. They need more exposure to diversity. The supplies will help them succeed in our day to day learning. Due to the pandemic we have to have individual boxes of supplies at our desk. I would like to replace or help fulfill the materials they need inside them as needed that is why I put the crayola crayons, markers, glue sticks and scissors on my list. I also added expo markers because we use them daily on our desks or in reading groups to help us be engaged in the activities. Lastly, I put masks for my kids because I have already gone through a whole box and need more masks for myself as well. My students have transitioned very well to in-person learning and are making so much growth, these materials will only enhance them for the rest of the year.
Please help make our in-person learning experience the best it can be with these materials. Most of my students are free/reduced lunch and came to school with nothing but a backpack. I have supplied everything they have needed up to this point but I sadly can't afford to continue to financially. My class will be super grateful for any donation!
