As I have a mix of students in the classroom and learning from home at this time, I want to keep all of them engage with interactive and thoughtful material that they can easily navigate. Some frustrations with remote learning has been the ability to navigate new sites and material. I have found that the digital resources offered through Teachers Pay Teachers are easily accessible and easy to manipulate for my young learners.
Students in class and at home will have access to digital manipulatives to help identify and compare fractions, a new skill in third grade. Those friends learning from home will be able to "see" new math vocabulary through digital images that can rotated and flipped to see all angles of new shapes.
As physical centers to practice literacy skills are on hold this year, I'd like to use these digital resources for students to practices skills on their own and interactively.
Having these resources available to my students and myself will help ALL my students practice skills on their own in the classroom and at home while working remotely.
