These supplies that you donate will give the scholars the ability to practice concepts that are hard to do virtually. These supplies will not only give my scholars the ability to have a visual idea, but they help those kinesthetic learners that need a more hands-on learning approach.
The supplies on my list include basic and practical items like notebooks and magnets for name tags, but they also include a ton of fraction and decimal manipulatives which is the hardest topic for many 5th graders.
By being able to send home an individual set, the scholars will be able to do a hands-on approach to what I am teaching in the classroom. It also gives both those visual and kinesthetic learners a chance to flourish and understand the difficult topics.
