By having the options for students to stand up at their desk or sit up higher in the classroom, it gives the learner many advantages. The child who can't sit still or is more comfortable standing is given the option to feel comfortable during the school day. When the student is comfortable they are able to pay attention and work better throughout the day.
With being able to raise some of the desks to a higher height, this allows students to see the view-board and the white board easily.
Classrooms have changed so much in the last 20 years, and in order to stay cutting edge, schools and teachers must adapt to all the learning personalities of the students. By providing students with flexible seating it makes them feel valued as a learner. If children all learn in different ways, why then should we not provide different ways to sit in the classroom to help them in every way possible.
