This project aims to give my wonderful third graders the materials they will need to be happy and healthy as we transition to a hybrid learning model! Due to COVID restrictions, they will not play on the playground like they normally would. I would like to make them a fun recess bag with their own personal games and playground equipment that they can use while playing distant-style socially!
Each recess bag will be personalized with each child's name and include a jump rope, skip-it toy, bubbles, a velcro ball and mitt, helicopter toy, hacky sack, dance want, chalk, and a bean bag toss game.
This project will also supply our classroom with personal pencil boxes to avoid sharing materials. I would like to provide each student a container of play-dough, and air dry clay. This would allow the students to be creative in the classroom while social distancing.
Please consider donating to help our hybrid classroom stay happy and healthy!
