I am a first year English Language Arts special education teacher teaching in my home district of Kea驶au, Ka驶奴, and P膩hoa. As a special education teacher, I have been teaching asynchronously, synchronously, and a small group face to face since August.
We have just reopened our school and invited all of the grade level I teach back to campus! While my co-teacher and I are incredibly excited to see our students, we are also cautious and want to make sure that we are taking all of the possible precautions to keep our students safe. Currently, everyone wears masks, sanitizes frequently, and sits six feet apart.
This project will help provide sneeze guards in our classroom. While we do our best to stay six feet apart from our students, as a special education teacher, there are sometimes where I need to get a little closer to my students. These sneeze guards will provide an extra layer of protection and comfort for everyone.
Mahalo for reading and considering donating to my project!
