An iPad will give my students the opportunity to learn and engage during center time. Due to COVID we have restrictions on how many students are allowed to be in a center. Allowing my students to have iPads will let them have another center that they will be able to participate in on their own. Students will be able to use these iPads to use many of our online programs. This will help foster learning and allow students to learn in a different way. We currently do not have any technology in our classroom for the students to use interactive applications. These iPads will allow students to research and learn right at their finger tips.
We live in a world where technology is a part of our everyday lives. Some of my students do not have access to any technology at home. If we allow students to have access to these items in school, and learn how they work, it will be an easier transition as they continue to move throughout the school system.
