As of right now we do not have colored pencils or at least enough for each student to complete assignments correctly or do projects. With the donations of the pencils I will be able to have the students do projects that include coloring; such as the solar system, weather maps, and color coding. Students will be able to take these home if need be to finish assignments or projects.
The students need supplies in order to excel in school and some students don't have the funds to buy them. Even the most minute supplies can make a difference in how a student learns. Some students need the color to make things standout to them. Most of my students learn this way.
