Our project is filled with all types of different sensory materials and tools that will help add engagement and fun to a variety of lessons and activities in our classroom. The twisty droppers and tweezers will be used to help with our fine motor skills. The marble run and candy construction will both be apart of our construction center and will be added to our STEM activities. The mailboxes will be used to store and distribute all of the remote learning packets that we are sending home this year along with daily school work. Research has shown that sensory activities not only build nerve pathways in our brains, but they are able to calm students who are anxious and frustrated. This project will be adding many different types of sensory experiences. This project will bless students not only this year but for many years to come.
