The gift card will aid in student's progress towards their speech and language goals. I look at each of my students as an individual and want to provide the best treatment whether that is remote or in-person. I currently have <30% of my caseload in-person learning, however that changes weekly. My caseload has students targeting fluency, expressive language, receptive language, pragmatic/social skills, voice, articulation, etc. The Teacher Pay Teachers gift card would allow me to provide increased opportunities for both remote and in-person learning for a variety of needs. There are activities I can provide to parents to aid in increasing communication. For example, the "BIG Core Vocabulary Classroom Board, Low Tech AAC for Speech Therapy & Autism" on TPT could be used both virtually and in-person. I could mail packets home for parents to utilize for carryover at home and during virtual speech sessions. Carrying over the skills students learn in speech is so important to see progress in everyday activities. I want my students to be able to have that success!
