We use iPads daily in our classroom for a variety of learning activities. Students use them to practice math skills, phonics skills, and reading in a way that keeps them engaged. With so many students using devices at once, it often becomes noisy in our classroom! In a year where students are already struggling to catch up from the learning deficits caused by the pandemic and missed academic instruction due to COVID-19, I want to be able to do everything I can to help them make the most of our supplemental learning activities.
These headphones will help my students increase their attention to the task at hand and in turn help them improve their literacy skills! With each student using headphones, they will not be distracted by the other students' devices. They will all be able to hear what they are working on and be successful in their activities! Additionally, while other students are engaged in their own learning activities I will be able to make the most of a quiet learning environment to work one on one with students who may need a little extra help to fill the academic, social, and emotional gaps from the last two years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
