I am requesting hands on materials to help elevate my students' learning. My students will be able to use these learning kits, alphabet practice and feelings and emotions materials in the classroom and at home. Many of my students are homeless and are from low-income families and they do not have the resources to help with extending their learning at home. Being able to provide them these materials will help with their engagement but also help them comprehend what I am teaching.
Providing my students with the alphabet mats and play doh will allow them to practice at home with materials and activities that will last them for the rest of the school year.
The At Home Learning kits will also be beneficial to them to help them gain more literacy skills, mathematic skills, and social emotional skills.
