These materials will be able to reach all of my students with the wide range of grades and skill levels that I teach. Differentiating for each student is essential for their learning. Every student learns differently! These fantastic math materials will be used in the classroom with my special needs students. For my kindergarten students, they will use the shape boxes to reveal the new shape of the day. They will be able to identify real life objects that are that shape and be able to sort them. Once they are able to identify shapes, we will work on sorting them by size. For my older students, they will be able to use the materials for addition, subtraction, time, and fractions. With the self-correcting pens for addition and subtraction, students will be able to work independently which is one of their biggest goals.
