Holding captive the minds and attention of 16 early learners virtually is...well...interesting...to say the least! With Pre-K being the very first educational experience most of our students have had, my teaching partner and I want to make it the VERY BEST we can! Four year olds are waiting excitedly for what we've told them is about to happen...only to have computer glitches blocking the way or even knocking a teacher right off of virtual teaching! Not being able to see what the teacher is holding or sharing is a challenge as well!
A new HP computer will offer reliability each day so that both teachers can then effectively engage students in a digital setting during both whole group and individual sessions without all the teaching and learning time lost (and headaches and stress) caused by outdated technology!
Keeping our "Littles" engaged during our time together each day by having back and forth conversations, asking and answering open ended questions, sharing books along with a love for learning and early reading skills, growing math brains, modeling best practices for handling "life", joining in on music and movement activities, and learning about the world around them are our goals each day. With your help, we can do this much better!!
