I am the Lead Virtual Teacher for our 5th grade team and my classroom is one of only three hybrid classrooms in our building. Throughout this first semester, I have collaborated with other virtual teachers sharing high interest and engaging virtual resources. I teach synchronous lessons 4 to 5 days a week for 3 hours on each of those mornings. We cover science, reading and math as a group.
With these classroom resources, our high engagement learning games would improve, with the use of the 55'' television. It will enlarge the information being projected by my apple tv and make it easier to read from all angles of the classroom (due to social distancing) and bring our learning videos into larger than life images, for my visually stimulated students.
Also, the headphones will assist my students during their Station Rotation time and independent working time, using the research-based program iReady. It is so beneficial for my students to ready challenging material with the support of read-aloud, as they follow a long in the text.
Thank you for considering my classroom project to improve the learning potential for my at-risk students. I so appreciate your kindness!
