My district was able to purchase a screen and Apple TV for our school to be utilized around the building. It will be used mostly in my gym. I plan to use this IPad along with the TV to be able to supplement my lessons with different types of technology. So many times I have had the perfect video to go along with a lesson but I am never able to show my students.
We are taking on more in P.E. and starting to hit more on topics of health and how our body works. I have worked hard to find and create more resources to help show the kids why we engage in physical activity. Videos and presentations are just a few ways I will be using this tech and working it into my lessons.
There are so many apps to help with even little day to day missions that could be displayed. Throwing on a timer or a scoreboard to help keep kids engaged and aware. Allowing students to watch videos of themselves to provide instant feedback is a major tool I plan to help them see how to accomplish goals. In P.E., new material usually has to be discussed or demonstrated live. With this technology, my gym will surpass the limits we had before when introducing new topics and lessons. Thank you for your time and donations!
