Teaching personal finance is very important and we do not have the funds to buy up-to-date curriculum. Many students are already purchasing vehicles, have jobs and do not understand personal finance.
We owe it to our students' to teach them about personal finance before they graduate from high school! We teach reading, science, math and history but not personal finance. They need to have the skill sot make great choices and those even apply to how to handle money.
This money would be used to purchase the Foundations of Personal Finance curriculum.
