All students are excited at the idea of having our own school garden. We will use the supplies to plant seeds and help extend the classroom beyond traditional settings by expanding it outside. Gardening will provide hands-on learning opportunities while increasing environmental awareness and teaching life cycle systems.
Children will learn to come up with solutions to problems by inquiring, observing, measuring, and solving. The garden will become an interactive playground for kids to engage all their senses.
The garden boxes would teach responsibility, cause, and effect, self-confidence, and teamwork to name a few.
