I am seeking help to purchase Pen Writing tablets with software for 116 Math students. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our school district chose the remote learning model until further consideration. Students will initially use the Pen Tablets in their remote learning environments to work math problems assigned to them using SaavasRealize, Edgenuity, or CK12 for Math7 and Algebra 2. The Pen Tablets will be attached to their computers so that they can use MicroSoft whiteboard or Kami to hand write their work instead of trying to type mathematical symbols and numbers. We use GoogleMeet and GoogleClassroom. The writing PenTablet will allow me to model problems for them and at the same time the students can work problems on the whiteboard on their computers using the requested writing PenTablets almost as if they were working problems on a whiteboard in a physical classroom. The normal keyboard does not have mathematical symbols and most of my students have no typing experience. Also the writing PenTablet is more ergonomic for their hands. They write faster than they type. The writing Pentablet can be used with all of distant learning classes not just Mathematics. It can be used in lieu of a touchpad or mouse.
