Help me give my students the motivation to stay on task and improve their academics. Staying focused on learning for over six hours a day is a daunting task even for adults. But I ask my students to do it every school day.
Kids love prizes and will work hard academically and behaviorally to earn fun items.
Even more impressive, some students spend points to get their siblings' birthday presents. These motivating prizes include invisible ink pens, squishy animals. squishy rings, spinners, and other fun items. The class will be more exciting for students knowing they can earn exciting prizes for being on their best behavior.
Also included in this project is a small refrigerator. Many of my students come to school late not having eaten breakfast. A refrigerator will allow me to store snacks that will give my students the energy they need to stay focused. Finally, basic copy paper will give me the ability to keep my students on task at home and at school.
