These materials will help create an inviting environment and assist me in meeting the supply needs of our students. Many are unable to provide their own basic items. In the instances our students were in the building, a large portion did not have a water bottle with them and our fountains cannot be used for reduction of COVID transmission. A refrigerator will allow me to keep a supply of cold water for students who do not come to school with their own. When in person, having a rug for the classroom allows for sitting together on the hard, linoleum floor more comfortably and adds "warmth" to the room. Funding my project will allow me to share classroom items my students will need whether in person or remote. Dry-erase boards with markers, pencils and composition journals come in handy for both learning platforms as we play math games and take part in writing activities to maintain motivation and engagement in a very challenging school year. Other supplies are basic classroom needs as I set up my own classroom. There are no words to express the gratitude I feel for donors willing to support educators and learners. Thank you all so very much. We would be ever so grateful!
