These materials will make such a difference in my student's lives because they are just starting to read in Kindergarten. If we get our children excited about reading at a young age, they will be able to foster this love of reading throughout the rest of their lives. By choosing fun and interactive books for my library, my students will begin to connect to these books and find the joy that comes from reading. I hope that by getting them engaged in reading, they will want to keep reading and find genres that they like!
