"Where do I put my things?" A question my students will have when they enter my classroom and see no storage space. This school year, I have been moved to a room that was previously a computer lab. Because it wasn't a traditional classroom, the storage areas for students' work, books, and supplies weren't included.
I would love for my students to have cubbies so that they may have a space to organize all of their daily needs. With the current state of the pandemic, they need to be able to have their own supplies and storage.
The classroom is also a safer place when the room is neat and organized. Having supplies, papers, and books lying around could potentially cause an accident if stepped on or tripped over. An organized classroom is a safe classroom!
