Hello Art Lovers! I work at a High School Located in Ogden Utah. I have been the Pottery teacher here for 4 years. Over the course of those 4 years our program has grown immensely. The pottery department has more than doubled from 225 students to 473 students within one year. We've had so many students find their love for creativity through Pottery and Sculpture! However, through this amazing, yet unexpected growth we have been slowed by the ever growing prices and amounts of clay needed to run the program. Without a way to recycle our old clay we are stuck with having to purchase thousands of dollars worth of clay every year. With a Pug Mill we will be able to recycle our clay which would lower prices for my students, eliminate waste, and cut the need for students to support the ever growing prices of clay.
Help us fund a Pug Mill to recycle our clay so we can continue to create pottery and break the boundaries caused by expensive clay prices. A Pug Mill would change the way our program functions, saving us time, money, effort, as well as support the growth of the art department here at Bonneville High School. It will encourage our students to create and explore their abilities and allow further learning and experimentation, without the added stress of paying for expensive materials.
Within one year this purchase alone will save our department thousands of dollars. Help me support the students in my school and community by breaking away from financial limitations and giving them unlimited creative possibilities.
