The materials on my list are for scholars' personal use and sanitation while we are in the classroom. The scholars will take responsibility for the cleanliness of their own areas while we are together. They will still have all the materials they need in order to have a successful school year while we learn to share other things, like empathy.
Should we have to go back to remote, they can travel with all the necessary items in their tote bags and will have all their learning, all their notes and subjects in one large binder, with them at all times. Learning will continue! School, this year, is not only remote, but will be mobile in case we have to pick up and go. Whether together in the classroom or together through a screen, their education will not stop this year.
Through Donors Choose, all 24 scholars will have the same materials provided for them so there will be equality among all and no additional stress for families going through hard times.
