School this year is very different for all students and teachers. This year for art my students are not able to come to the art room, instead I have to go to each one of their classrooms. They are not able to share any supplies, but instead all have to have their own individual supplies. Working in an inner-city school, many students cannot afford to bring in their own supplies, so it is important to me to be able to supply materials for them.
I asked my students all what their favorite thing to do in art was and they all mostly said they love to paint and draw. I want to be able to provide my students with different art materials so we are able to still do these projects. Liquid water colors, oil pastels, and markers are all materials students love to explore art with.
My goal is to make my students to be able to feel as if they are still being able to create art like the years before, even if they have to stay in their classroom to do it!
