Gibbon High School is in its second year with Robotics in both junior high and high school. For junior high Robotics, we have a new set of Sphero RVRs this semester. After working through many management scenarios, I have learned that there are few supplies that we need to make things work a little better in our room.
The Raspberry Pi, LEGOs, FPV cameras will be a great way for us to expand on the lessons we already have. It will allow for differentiation for those students that want some extensions of the challenges. And the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help me to purchase some additional activities for our robots.
We need is a way to charge more than one robot battery at a time. With two robotics classes sharing the room and limited electrical outlets, we need powerstrips and places to charge the batteries. The powerstrips and the USB charging stations will help us manage our battery charging much better. The baskets will help keep the batteries and cables safe while charging from accidental damage.
This project will get those extras for the class we need in order to build our robotics program for Gibbon Public Schools.
