When students think of science, they think of experiments. Because that is their first thought, it can be difficult to get students engaged in science if they are not able to do hands-on experiments. These Chromebooks will allow my class to participate in some really cool experiments, even if we do not have the ability to complete the experiments in person.
Once we get the Chromebooks, my students will be able to watch plants grow as they feed them, explore a honeybee hive, and even help restore the ecosystem of a national park-- all virtually!
While we are limited in our resources at our school, I have found some really cool online experiments that we can do! We just need your help to get the Chromebooks! We might not be able to go out and explore these things ourselves, but I cannot wait to get my students excited about science again! Thank you for your help!
