My students will benefit from these resources in so many ways! Due to the impact that Covid-19 has had on my students, I have many students who need some assistance with social-emotional skills regarding how to socialize with students, as well as working on self-control. That is why I have requested a few social-emotional resources.
My students have not been in school since kindergarten, due to Covid-19 and I believe it has impacted their ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time and their ability to control themselves in one space. That is why I have requested resources for flexible seating, as well as resources for students who may need to fidget/move. I hope this will allow students to feel that they have more options for where to sit and that they will be able to focus/control their bodies more.
I have also requested for many low-level books and small group reading resources. I believe being out of a real classroom for a year and a half has impacted my students reading skills and I would love to have more books on their level, as well as more resources for me to use during my small group instruction.
