Kindergarten students come to school to learn and play. My classroom is usually full of inviting centers to encourage social and language development, thinking and questioning, planning and creating, as well as reading and writing. This year, our students will need to be able to engage in activities like this in a safe environment.
Many of the products I chose for my brain bins are open ended that give students the freedom to explore, create, and have fun learning.
Brain bins will give my kindergarten class a chance to use materials individually for a week at a time. Students will choose a different bin the next week. Meanwhile, the first week's bins will be cleaned and have a week to sit before another child has a chance to use it.
These materials will give students an opportunity to use their creativity to explore, use trial and error, and explain their thinking for their creations.
Please help me get the materials I need to help my students not only learn, but enjoy learning in a safe environment.
