I teach Pre-K and 80% of my students leave my class ready for kindergarten as beginning readers. I do not want that to change due to the hold backs from the pandemic. I will be starting the school year with some of my students being taught online and even when we return to the classroom sharing items will be hard or non- existent. It seems students holding or having there own books for guided reading groups will be hard so my goal is to have my students be able to have their own Kindle for the year to continue to learn to read. PreK is not supplied with devices through the district even if we go to total remote learning. My goal is to continue reading success for my 3 and 4 year old Tiny Readers !
