My students are kindergarteners and need to see visuals when learning. This will assist them in staying engaged and will give students graphics to reference and help with understanding and comprehension. Kindergartners are very active and I want to do my best at assisting them to learn through these difficult times. My students will find these additions to the classroom setting fun and intriguing in our new way of learning. These materials will serve as excellent tools to help aid in their distance learning!
These materials will help my students be successful with distance learning.
The language lotto game will be used to help my ELL population with ideas about certain themes. I can display the items and use them as conversational pieces to assist in language and help students produce full sentences about the items displayed. The what鈥檚 inside box will be used as a reward system. I will pull an item out of the box on screen after the class has earned a special incentive to keep their attention throughout the lesson. The other items will be used as manipulatives to display during certain lessons to assist with explaining topics or promote social skills. They will be able to practice foundational skills for both reading, language, and math while they are distance learning.
